I drew inspiration particularly in post-apocalyptic movies, which has a very unique fashion style: chains, spikes, leather straps and metal buckles. However I also wanted to keep other aspects of the traditional sport sneaker, like the rubber soles, sport laces and athletic insole. Combine them together to create the best of both world: The Air Mad Max. 

I extracted a lot symbolism from Nike and Mad Max movies, including the Immortan Joe logo the featured tagline on the heel strap: "Survive just one more day". Shoe is mostly leather, with some perforated areas around the toe area, as well as metal on the toe tip, the heel and lace holes. Shoe tongue features a breathable, weather-proof material to provide both comfort and protection, while the buckled straps allow a tighter fitting around the ankle. 

If you'd ask me, I'd definitely wear these during the Apocalypse. Think about it: You need both agility and toughness to withstand and traverse the harshest environments. The Air Mad Max will help you "Survive (just) one more day"!
